Historic / St Georges

After visiting the three main ski resorts in Bulgaria in 2004/ 05, Bansko was selected as it offered the combination of modern facilities and 15th Century Bulgarian village charm. As a consequence, not only has this resort generated enormous international interest and investment over the past 5 years but the infra-structure, climate and location together with the adoption of an all-year-round approach has already created an exciting momentum.

In early 2005, Parc Investments conceived a landmark, 5-star ski development in up-and-coming Bansko. Prime land surrounded by the Pirin National Park at the top of the village was acquired and a competition was conducted to select the best design. In March 2006 the current design was agreed and ‘St Georges Lodge’ was born; the resort was completed and renamed St George’s Palace in 2010.

St George’s Palace comprises 157 apartments and is located on prime land selected for its commanding views and access to all the key amenities. The site provides totally uninterrupted views of the Pirin Mountains to the South and views over Bansko town to the North. The site adjoins National Park land.

The apartment mix comprises studios, 1 bed, 2 beds, 3 beds and Penthouses. Parc’s top-end approach to apartment and build specification and common amenities places this development way ahead of recent and current developments in Bansko and will add significantly to the enduring attractiveness and capital growth potential of the project.
